Toddler Socks for Soft Feet

March 29th, 2012 | Posted by orens in Baby Clothes | socks - (0 Comments)

toddler socksToddlers are pretty fragile. It seems if you take your eye off them for more than 30 seconds they end up in harm’s way. One of the most bothersome toddler injuries are splinters and cuts on the bottom of the foot. Objects can be hard to remove and every time your toddler takes step they cry out in pain. Toddler socks can help you protect the feet of your little one from splinters, rocks, and other hazards.

The last thing you want is a splinter in your toddler’s foot. They will fight, kick and scream when you attempt to remove it. They won’t stay still for long enough for you to cleanly dislodge the splinter. Then another round of crying once you have removed the splinter and are applying disinfectant. Save yourself the trouble by making sure your toddler always has socks on their feet.

Kidsocks.com has a massive selection of toddler socks for girls and boys. You can find many cute toddler socks in no time, no matter how you like to dress your little one. Ordering online is easy and you don’t even need to take your child out of your lap. It certainly beats wrestling with them trying to remove a splinter.

Kids Socks for Sports Activities

March 28th, 2012 | Posted by christinem in socks - (0 Comments)

Kids love running around, even when the last thing you want is for them to crash into the furniture. They just tend to have so much energy that it’s hard to keep them contained. So signing them up for sports activities can be a great idea, as it’ll keep them fit, let them be social and meet new friends, teach them team work and burn out their energy. By the time they get home, they’ll be too wiped out to make a mess of the place.

But if you they are going to take on soccer practice or little league, you’ll want to buy kids socks that are made for sports activities. There are plenty of choices for kids that will work for their activities. These athletic socks will make sure to keep feet cool and comfortable, no matter what kind of sneakers or cleats they may be wearing for their sport. It’ll also keep them from getting their better pairs of kids socks dirty needlessly.

Athletic socks are a great choice for the kids, so they can  feel absolutely comfortable, no matter what sports or activities they are involved in. You know they’ll be comfortable and ready to take on anything and win the game!

From a very early age you listen to music. You grow up listening to it. It is a universal language– one without boundaries that anybody can enjoy. All little kids like to dance. It’s just plain fun to rock out to the tunes your family plays for you. That’s why graphic boys socks with guitars and musical notes are ideal for that little audiophile you’re raising.

Socks for kids are meant to be playful. Music is something that could end up being very important to them. It’s not only creative, it becomes a healthy outlet for creativity and comfort. It doesn’t matter if your kid grows up playing one instrument, several, or none at all. As long as they know that you cared for them with comfortable clothes and encouraged their interests and hobbies when they were growing up.

Inspire that inner creativity in your little one’s mind. In comfortable socks they can rock, roll, and tumble at home, on the playground, or at school. They’ll be a total rockstar wherever they go with their socks featuring electric guitars, quarter notes, and lightning bolts. These socks really give that electric kick (excuse the pun) to any outfit your kid wears.

Favorite Socks

March 26th, 2012 | Posted by kristing in socks - (0 Comments)

I’ll admit it. I have a favorite brand of socks. It’s not exactly a conscious thing. But when I do the laundry and my sock drawer is full, there are socks that I’ll reach for before others. They’re the socks that get worn first and they’re the ones that I always want to buy when older socks get holes and need to be replaced.

I’m sure I’m not the only one that this happens to. Do you have a favorite pair of socks? They might be the ones that go the proper length up your ankle and are the perfect cushioning for your feet. When I find a pair I like, I like to buy them in bulk. Why should it be different with kids? When you find children’s socks that your children wear all day and seem to last a long time, why not buy them in packs so that you don’t have to keep buying ones they don’t like or keep purchasing new pairs.

Buying children’s socks in bulk certainly has it’s advantages. Honestly, you should replace all socks that are starting to wear out and it’s always cheaper to buy socks in bulk. Grab a few packs and get rid of those old worn out socks!

Soft Firls Socks For Spring!

March 23rd, 2012 | Posted by kidssocks in Baby Clothes | socks | tights - (0 Comments)

When it comes to socks in the spring warmth becomes secondary. For the whole winter we tend to choose our kid’s footwear for their relative warmth but once that need is no longer required we move on to the second most important quality of socks. They have to be soft.

When buying socks for kids be sure to fins ones that will be comfy on their feet. A soft sock is always going to feel a lot better for anyone wearing them, why would you treat buying your kids socks differently than you would buying your own?

These Puma Supersoft Polytam No Show Girls Socks are an exceptional example of the perfect spring sock. Perfect for skirts or shorts with a low top sneaker they basically disappear. They are comfortable as well, the folks at Puma take the words “super soft” seriously and have made a sock that will make the foot feel good in practically any kind of footwear.

Puma is a trusted brand in footwear and Kids Socks is of course a trusted retailer. All told these socks seem like the best bet for your little girl’s spring wardrobe and they are priced to move at $15 for six pairs.

Puma Socks for Sports

knee high socksPuma has been a trusted name is sportswear for years. Few parents know however, they are also purveyors of fine childrens socks. They make durable socks that are great for sports for both boys and girls. If you are shopping for the spring athletic season you should make sure you stock up on plenty of sporty kids socks.

For boys Puma offers crew and runner’s socks. They come in a few colors and have the well-recognized Puma logo. For girls there are crew and runner’s rocks in more feminine hues of pink and purple. For the sporty girl who likes fashion there are also knee high socks with hearts, stripes and, of course, the Puma logo. Knee high socks are great for early spring because you can roll them down during warm days and roll them up during chillier nights.

Other good brands of sports socks are Jefferies and Tic-Tac-Toe. Whatever you choose just make sure you get enough pairs. Even the highest quality sports sock will eventually ware. It is hard keeping up with active kids, especially once spring fever is in full force. Make sure to also purchase some thinner socks for more casual activities like walks and trips to the mall.

Dress socks aren’t exactly the most fun of all the kids socks you can buy, but they are just as important. Dress socks for kids means they are going to be prepared when you have to take them a long to a wedding or dress them up for the school photo day. And because there are dress socks for all ages, you can get even your littlest one all dapper for any event.

For girls, it’s a little easier since you have the option of both socks and tights to make the rest of their outfit look great. There’s a lot of ways to go, whether cute pink tights or frilly socks for the young ones. For boys though, there’s some great pattern choices. Argyle is a very grown up pattern that looks absolutely adorable on a little guy.

And dress socks tend to be made of a much softer, higher quality material. Over all, it’s going to be very comfortable for your kids as the materials are light and cool against the skin. And they really look great no matter the outfit. Whether your girls are wearing a nice skirt and blouse or your boys have trousers and a sweater on, these kids socks will look great!

Creepy Crawly Boys Socks

March 20th, 2012 | Posted by MattC in socks - (0 Comments)

As a kid I always found insects to be very fascinating. Now as I’ve gotten older that interest has lulled. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate them. I now notice that my nephew thinks they’re very cool. He gets eye level to the ground so he can get a better look at the way they move. It’s much like when he views his action figures. And I realize that as a kid you want to know how everything works and why it is the way it looks.

Insects are just really cool looking creatures. That’s why when I came across this pair of kids socks (see picture), I thought how he’d probably like them. He likes wearing clothes that feature his favorite things. It could be bugs, trains, or Disney characters. As long as he’s familiar with it he thinks it’s pretty cool.

It makes you realize the little things in life should be remembered. Even if it’s something as simple as just that– owning something that reminds you of the things that interest you. I know the next time I go shopping for him that I’ll be sure to get something he likes, like these socks for boys. And maybe one day when he’s older he’ll do the same.

Goofy Tights for Girls

March 19th, 2012 | Posted by kristing in tights - (0 Comments)

It’s a beautiful spring day here in New York City and it’s about time. I’ve missed the sunshine, the walks in the park, the ice cream, and the spring fashions.

One great trend for spring is in silly and colorful kids tights. Girls are looking forward to wearing their skirts and dresses outside without freezing for a change and girls tights are the perfect accessory. Not only do they keep your legs from getting chilly in these early spring breezes but they’re an adorable and fun punch of color that can really add to an outfit.

A plain black or grey skirt is jazzed up with these great pom pom tights in carnation, turquoise, and hot pink. They’re an adorable pattern and these bright colors are absolutely perfect for the spring season. In addition to just being a color pop in an outfit, these tights add a little bit of whimsy to an otherwise dull and drab kind of outfit.

It’s amazing how much girls can grow over the winter and it seems they always need new clothes for spring. If you’re shopping for a young girl this spring, colorful, printed, graphic, and goofy tights are definitely a must have accessory.
